Curbside delivery is our standard
Every sod order is delivered curbside. That means we bring your sod to your driveway, curb, or the nearest point our truck can safely reach. All of our delivery pricing is based on curbside drop-off.
We'll get it closer when we can
Where the site allows, we'll do our best to move your sod closer to your work area using our portable forklift. This is a courtesy we're happy to extend when conditions permit, but it's never guaranteed.
For our forklift to operate safely, we need:
- At least 10 feet of clear width for access
- Firm, stable ground that can support the equipment
- A clear, unobstructed path to the drop point
If your site doesn't meet these requirements, delivery will remain curbside, and moving the sod from there is up to you.
Depending on your order size, vehicle, and site, our crew may take sod off the truck by hand rather than by forklift. How we unload is our call. Either way, sod is delivered to the curbside drop point, and moving it beyond that point is the customer's responsibility.
What's not included
Delivery ends at the drop point. Whether your sod comes off the truck by forklift or by hand, our crew isn't able to carry, wheelbarrow, or relocate it beyond that point on your behalf. Moving sod to your work area is the customer's responsibility.
If you need sod placed somewhere our equipment can't reach, talk to us before your delivery date. We're glad to review the options with you and help you plan.
Property access and liability
If you ask our equipment to travel beyond the curbside drop point, whether onto a lawn, driveway, walkway, or any other surface, it's done at your request and at your risk. Mountainview Turf assumes zero liability for damage to lawns, landscaping, driveways, walkways, underground utilities, irrigation systems, or any other property that may occur while accommodating such a request.
Our drivers reserve the right to decline any access route they judge unsafe or unsuitable, including driving across lawns or onto neighbouring property. These decisions are final and made in the interest of safety.
